Import

The Import option provides you with various tools for importing content from other blogging systems. You can import content from Blogger, LiveJournal, Moveable Type, TypePad and Tumblr. You can also import content from Blogrolls that use the OPML Format, posts from an RSS feed or content from other WordPress sites. To import content from another WordPress site you first need to install the WordPress Importerplugin. To import content from another type of site other than WordPress, you’ll be prompted to install the relevant Importer plugin after selecting the type of site that you’d like to import your content from.
